Project Description.

The project is a 22 room hotel designed to accommodate traveling employees of Norfolk Southern Railroad. The facility also includes a street side deli for all general public use.

The site work includes the demolition of an existing 6000 sf street level building with a full basement. The work also includes grading, drainage, utility connections, parking lots and drive aisles landscaping. The new building is a two story, 14,200 square foot wood framed structure on spread footings. The building exterior consists of Split faced masonry and siding. The roofing is 30 year architectural grade shingles on titanium weather barrier. The 16’ x 30’ Porte-cochère will be of structural steel and masonry. Interior construction includes wood stud and gypsum partitions, wood stairs, wood doors, acoustical ceilings, wall and floor finishes, plastic laminate casework, solid surface tops, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, electrical and telecommunication systems.
